Pros

Great City! Great Food! Great Music!! good culture mixed between partying and school. Great if you like warm weather and either like or dont mind the rain. Good career advice and help if you are in the business school. Lots of free stuff. There are two bars extremely close to campus that are easy to get into.

Cons

Not a huge school. You will see people the next day that saw you drunk at the boot. If you are not in the business school there is much less help getting a job post-grad. Cockroaches fly down here! No beach. Its not impossible to get into a class if you REALLY want to, but it can be challenging. Also, there is a decent sized greek culture.

Pros

Many of the staff who I've interacted with at the University truly do want to make impactful changes whether in a student facing role or a business/operation role. The staff in the student facing roles really do try to assist students and make their lives as seamless as possible when needed. While not beneficial to me the ability to pursue a degree paid for by the school is a great perk.

Cons

There is often a lot of turnover in positions that are instrumental to having a university run smoothly due to an undervaluation of those staff members. In the same vain when these teams lose personnel much of their work is folded onto the remaining team members without any increase in pay or title. This in turn causes significant burnout and usually leads to even more turnover. There is also not really a clear path in growth for staff positions often people will move to another department within the university to see any potential growth.
