Pros

-Lots of time off due to holidays and other time off -Good benefits -Love the students there -Love working with faculty and other staff not in my dept.

Cons

Most people there are easy going, but my beef was with higher management and how they run the show. Their red tape system of getting things accomplished is outdated and ridiculously complex. As a computer tech, I had to get permission for vital areas of support from (a haa) blonde admin assistant they put in charge that had no real expertise or technical training. Also, there is an upper political climate that is non conducive to change within the organization. It's a disgrace the way they treat some of their classified employees and get away with it legally in Oklahoma, while their HR Dept. looks the other way. If you want to get recognition and promoted in what you do, don't work at this institution as a classified employee. It may be good as a job while your looking around, but not a career choice.

Pros

Beautiful campus, most people are awesome and nice and helpful. The meaning behind TCC is beautiful if it was true.

Cons

If your in IT be prepared to get yelled at, belittled, disrespected. Be prepared to no have a voice. Like at all. If you try to voice anything be prepared for reprocussions. Be prepared to be wrong even if your right. Be prepared to get in trouble for team building or talking to fellow it members not in your direct department. And oh huge do not trust HR to help. If your supervisor tells them they aint getting involved then HR will back down.
