Pros
I worked in sales for roughly a year. Good office, good initial pay, weekly lunches and beer fridays. Recruiting really does do a good job of hiring great entry level people. The product is great as well somewhat niche based for larger enterprises which makes it hard to saturate the mid market especially with the call volume and sales model that is in place.
Cons
Where to begin, terrible management that force feeds you the idea of transparency but your constantly faced with reorgs routine firings and pretty much a complete aire of doubt and lack of confidence to the sales floor. The sales mode they have is out of date and management has no idea what is going on, look at people strictly as names on a spreadsheet. They have harassed the market for years to the point where within IT and within other software sales companies in Boston the model is a running joke. Management seems to only care about inflating titles to those in their inner circle. Only company I've seen to routinely denote people as well.
