Cons

This company prides itself on being entrepreneurial and scrappy, but in practice that is the cover story for throwing people in with no training and no structure. Being entrepreneurial does not mean leaving people to figure out core systems alone. (I've seen many come and go due to lack of support and office politics rather than the candidates experience and potential). The bigger issue is not whether you are capable. The roles here require real training on the specific systems and processes the company runs on, and that training does not exist. What makes it worse is that management often does not know how to use these systems either, and cannot point you to the right person to learn from. You are expected to deliver on tools and processes that no one will actually teach you. Exhausting office politics. None of this is about ability. It is about an organization that has not built the basic infrastructure to let people succeed in the jobs they were hired to do.
