Pros

MODERN & FUNCTIONAL OFFICE SPACE - Everyone is equipped with convertible standing desks and dual monitors, also all of the walls are actually whiteboards, this leads to a lot of doodles and inside jokes. There's no offices or cubicles, but everyone kind of still has their own personal space and storage, if that makes sense. The office is newly remodeled, and located in the heart of downtown Spokane, but conveniently not too downtown. WONDERFUL RECRUITING - The hiring process stresses personality fit just as much as skills. This leads to everyone really getting along great, and being able to be productive together. I enjoy and care about all of my coworkers, it's exhausting. MANAGEMENT STYLE - The management hierarchy here is as small as possible. No one is watching over your shoulder, or micromanaging you at all. There is a person or two that sets the deadlines but other than that, we work as a team and motivate/aid each other to meet them. It's just as corny and wholesome as it sounds. AMENITIES - There's a full kitchen, unlimited free coffee, and an entire wall of different snack dispensers that are always stocked. There's an indoor 4 square court, dart board, and video games that people flock to when we take breaks as well. VIBE- Our parent company got us this separate office and moved the Development and Creative teams here so that we can nerd-out in peace. It's awesome. It's an uber-productive, informal atmosphere where you'd never have to entertain some regional executive with painful small-talk just because you walked into the break room at the same time as them. For Eastern Washington, it's a pretty diverse crew and you definitely don't have to be anything other than yourself.

Cons

If you're not a self-starter, I don't think the style of management here will work well for you. You are not immediately expected to be able to perform at the level your experienced coworkers are, but you are expected to motivate and hone your skills on your own accord and get there in time. That might not be right for some. You'll probably have a panel style interview if you get one. Those can be awkward. We get 22 paid days off per year, but that includes holidays, so its more like 14, which isn't bad I guess.

Pros

Pay, benefits, and PTO are pretty nice. Good retirement options and match. In office culture can be good, but isn't always. Tech stack is really easy to use and lots of opportunity for development. Management invests heavily in juniors. Diverse income streams with high margins, with quality office spaces.

Cons

Grew too fast and hired some pretty terrible people. People who are stubborn, defensive, not collaborative, anti-social, and occasionally rude. CEO is wild. Asks for too much, can be aggressive, oddly witty, and stays private. It's like you're talking to a deity sometimes. Not enough shaming for overworking because they "preach" about work-life balance. Managers will occasionally say they worked late or a bit on the weekend, making you feel guilty that you didn't.
