Pros

Company has a lot of good people and many good products.

Cons

The cons would be a huge list, but I'll focus on a few. Communication internally is terrible. The attempt is there with letters from the CEO etc. but it's well understood that if you have issues they stop at management. The company is so divided up that you are silo'd like I've never dealt with before. There is absolutely zero training for those in sales positions, other people with more time on the job try to help train but they themselves have never undergone extensive training. You are made to feel stupid for not knowing the in's and out's, in fact it can come back to bite you in a employee performance score. Management is very focused on #s, but unfortunately, without the slightest effort taken to assess territory opportunity. It's a blind shot in the dark that can only be attributed to number pushers higher up that are even more focused on the bottom line and not paying attention to market trends or competition. Annual performance reviews focus on one thing and one thing only....$$. There is an attempt to disguise this fact by putting other stuff on a eval, but in the end if your numbers aren't good you score badly in areas like...communicating with clients and other staff?

Pros

BCBS insurance/decent benefits. Good amount of PTO (4 weeks to start, holidays, and 2 floating holidays). WFH M/F and as needed. Solid company so job stability is good as well, which is important in this economy. Flexible in terms of appointments and schedules. Room for growth in your position. Most of mid-level management are kind and open to listening to you.

Cons

Definitely underpays compared to the industry standard across the board. Promises more money is coming year after year, but never delivers - senior management is the roadblock here - may not be the case for all departments though. Promotion does not always equal significant/decent pay raise. No sick days - lumped in with PTO instead. However, you can WFH when sick/as needed. Recently changed health insurance to no longer cover diagnostic testing/bloodwork at 100%, so you may get hit with a couple hundred dollar bill.
