Pros

Monthly CLEs are often very interesting. The ability to be fully remote is great. Once you are a proven commodity there is not a lot of micromanaging.

Cons

Extremely high turnover and lack of support make it a challenge. While they discuss retention it seems little has been done to successfully address issues. And, some issues are simply ignored. Just finding applicants is difficult let alone attorneys that are hired and stay. In our small office we have had so many people leave in the few years I have been here that it’s hard to keep track. Very focused on billable hours which has caused a number of people to leave. Some flexibility is needed so people don’t feel doomed to fail.
