Pros
Executive director Michelle and HR partner Bonnie are the best part of the Org.
Cons
I have 8 years of experience working in GPD programs and homeless services, the supervisor that was assigned to me was a retired probation officer and treated me as such. Any communication that was had between us where she attempted to correct what she saw as my wrong doings were done through email on her tele commute day, and then would come in the next day like she didnt attempt the whole day prior to throw me under the bus. Good thing i kept amazing records of what i had did for outreach phone calls and follow ups. Also as a recovering alcoholic the last thing i need is a supervisor that was late due to being hungover and then came in wreaking of booze. In the beginning i did the professional thing about bringing my concerns to her attention but nothing ever changed. There was also very noticeable favoritsm in the office. I was expected to be in the office at 0930 sharp and if i didnt answer a text immediately there was an email sent out about how I needed to show more drive and initiative, meanwhile my coworker who was scheduled to come in at 1030 would come in at 1230 or 1300 and nothing was said to him because "thats just how he is" The coordinator also did no know how to complete an entire program intake so u would have to finish her work if the intake specialist was out for any reason. She was more concerned about picking up donations than picking up veterans from our local coordinated entry point and couldn't ever seem to make heads or tails of what she was doing. Definitely the wrong person was chosen for the Outreach Coordinator role.
