Pros
There are some good folks at this company in various departments and they mean well: Unfortunately they don't call the shots. They have Ok equipment, standard health benefits, but great education reimbursement program.
Cons
Poor Management, especially on the Walmart Dedicated Side! Sub-standard Communication, you are treated like a truck number and they will distort the truth to ensure they're able to continue 'status quo'. Most of the Fleet Managers wouldn't know the inside of a semi-tractor from a farm tractor. Their logistics personnel panics instead or logistically responding to situations causing unnecessary chaos that impacts the driver. They will Preassign you a load and when you are halfway to your destination it's Cancelled: The Maintenance staff is disgruntled and lack the skills necessary to keep the wheels moving which means you are punished financially for their inefficiencies. AND lastly, keep in mind that 'cents per mile' doesn't add up to a decent paycheck, if you're not getting the miles!
