Pros
They pay you. Decent insurance. Work from home(except it is being phased out). Flexible schedule, as long you tell them beforehand.
Cons
The pay is lower than other trucking companies, for drivers and office workers. They are removing work from home, even though they said it was permanent, and still advertise for it, this is company wide, not recruiting specifically. They demand drivers be hired as fast as possible, they don't care about quality or qualifications. I scheduled my drivers out based on their needs, not the company's and I was reprimanded constantly. I found several ways to be more efficient, and I was told not to do it and I was reprimanded each time. I was lied to about the pay, commission pay, and expectations in my interview. My hire rate was higher than most recruiters, especially the ones who were lying to get new hires. 90% of my drivers brought to orientation were hired, one person had a 15% hire rate from orientation and that person was considered a "good" recruiter, while I was in the top ten out of over 40, I was called average. They encourage recruiters to steal drivers from other recruiters, essentially taking away commission. Some recruiters are allowed to break company rules and policies while others are strictly monitored and micromanaged. They want recruiters to lie to drivers about pay, the job description, and hiring guidelines. They want quantity over quality, they almost force you to just hire bad drivers who barely meet hiring guidelines instead of finding good drivers who will actually contribute to the company. They will try not to pay commission, even if you exceed the goals. They lied about how commission was paid when I was hired, and they tried to get out of it every month by adding new "policies" or stating that certain hires didn't count towards commission. They do not pay drivers sign on bonuses or "transition bonuses" The turnover rate is ridiculously high, most drivers quit within 3 months because of the lies recruiters are told to say. They did not pay me my last paycheck or my commission pay until after I filed a complaint with the Department of Labor and the EEOC. HR, as they do everywhere, lied to me and about me. Senior management of recruiting was mostly absent. When they did hold meetings, it was all lip service and empty praise. This company promotes based off favortism and who you know, not actual job expertise. Bullies are encouraged.
