      Pros

      Some smart upper middle managers.

      Cons

      Departments are deeply siloed. There is no desire to work on projects that are good for the firm as a whole. Departments only care about themselves -- very WITFM attitudes. This attitude extends to most (but not all) individuals in the firm as well.

      Good Learning opportunities, Tech savvy compared to other banking / fintech companies

      Cons

      Too much offshore, low cost resource strategies, Gap between functional & IT resources, CS merger favored many UBS employees and massive layoffs post UBS - CS merger. Hardly any bonus or pay increments.
