Pros

The company is unique among IBs in that it is seems to view the employee as a person than as a headcount. HR policies are considerate towards making things convenient for the employee. Has a collaborative culture and fellow colleagues are more open to sharing information and brainstorming even across different groups in the company. The firm is also a nice addition to a resume and is a respected name in finance.

Cons

Seems to underpay market. Also, the company sometimes loses deals to white shoe IBs like Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley because they are more established in IB and have a better perception of being committed to IB.

Pros

Very minimal pros- you are working in a call center under managers with very little experience.

Cons

Managers are useless. The greater organization refers to the Wealth Advice Center as the “WAC”… yes…. wack. It has a double meaning and the advisors on the ultra high net worth teams are known to make fun of this call center. Very unserious role.
