Business Outlook
Pros
- diverse groups of scientists (from physics to mathematicians) for technical consultation - plenty of TA and GSR funding opportunities - quality faculties
Cons
- likely to live in the small, uneventful town - student body tends to be competitive and relatively difficult to ask question and collaborate with - dichotomization of training: with academics on the one hand, and applied field researchers on the other. There's a large developmental blind-spot for those who wish to go into interdisciplinary fields (i.e. business-science, politics-science, media-science).
