Great healthcare thanks to Graduate Student union bargaining Beautiful location My lab head gives mu *lots* of flexibility as long as I get things done, which works very well for me.
Cons
Budget cuts are demoralizing. To some degree, there's a climate of pooh-poohing new ideas just because they're new, and would require a change.
