      The environment is overall very friendly and it is a nice diverse community.

      Cons

      Lack of consistency amongst departments. Depending which department you are in, the culture varies enormously and funding is not guaranteed.

      Commuter school so traffic and parking can be terrible. Select your PI wisely, and ensure healthy work life balance.
