      Pros

      Chill environment, lots of on-campus resources, great people. The research is fantastic and I feel like I'm getting a really good education here.

      Cons

      They. Always. Mess. Up. Your. Paycheck. And they spend way too much money making the gym shiny while the offices and labs are literal health hazards. OSHA would like a word.

      Great institution serving a diverse student population. Plenty of interesting research labs. Decent benefits.

      Cons

      Commuter school so traffic and parking can be terrible. Select your PI wisely, and ensure healthy work life balance.

      Good balance and structure depending on the professor you work for. Good recommendations from professor for life.

      Cons

      Professors will take credit for your work and overwork you at times.
