      Not hard to get accepted, scheduling is very flexible, meet fellow peers, and it is not too demanding

      Cons

      If you have a class right after your shift, they let you off ten minutes early but it's not enough to get all the way across campus

      Great institution serving a diverse student population. Plenty of interesting research labs. Decent benefits.

      Cons

      Commuter school so traffic and parking can be terrible. Select your PI wisely, and ensure healthy work life balance.
