Pros

Benefits, beach area, variety of foods on campus although expensive, large recreation center to exercise before or after work, nice campus to walk during breaks

Cons

Unprofessional, horrible treatment of people. I write this to anyone considering this department, as I wished I listened to the review I saw about this department before I accepted the job. I was never given a chance, was given inconsistent training, was disrespected by the management. They can be doing much more for the students and spend time rather online or talking to each other. This department ruined my life, no exaggeration. I wish the DDS and chair of the department was aware of the treatment of staff. No diversity within department, hostile communication styles. Parking & price is crazy so make sure to consider that when negotiating salary or if looking at other schools to work at. School very low on diversity and lacks feeling of community. Common like other companies, a HR department that is not truly there for the best interest of the staff, but rather the best interest of the company. It's unfortunate.
