Be careful of the department you apply to for a job. - Anonymous employee UCHealth Employee Review

Pros

None worth mentioning as the pay is less than most places and benefits are not worth taking the job.

Cons

HR has lazy employees who are supposed to assist employees in need but they don't reply to emails, phone calls or if you go to them in person. The company states that patients come first so they don't care about employees, but without employees the higher ups and those on the board will have to do all the jobs themselves. They might want to check into some managers who have a BIG turnover in their departments. The job you apply for won't necessarily be the one you will do and make sure to get everything in writing. You may get paid $15 hr but someone who is less qualified will get $18 for the same job. Career opportunities are great because they have such a big turnover so if you need a job apply and expect to wait at least 3 to 5 months for an interview. Good luck you will need it.

Pros

High Acuity patients Maintain Skillset Job security

Cons

Too many patients in a day and not enough time to spend with them. Minimal admin time to manage InBasket and patient needs. Frequently need to juggle a full and complex patient schedule with urgent test results and care coordination. Have to use personal PTO to cover holidays and any time the clinic is closed due to circumstances outside of our control. (weather, power outages, etc) Annual performance Bonuses are now being determined by online patient feedback scores.
