      Pros

      People are generally supportive and genuinely friendly. Staff management and leadership skills development programs are available for staff.

      Cons

      Low pay and not so good benefits. Policies which discourage career advancement within UCLA -approval is needed for exceeding 15% of salary increase even if you are getting a promotion and working for another department.

      Good hours, flexible to student time schedule, allowed me to do homework on the job

      Cons

      Sometimes, other students don't take your full shift and leave like 30 mins of your shift if you give it up

      Great health insurance - I'm told it's really quite fire (no lie) Great location - love Westwood (sandwiched by Brentwood, Bel Air, and Beverly Hills) Union is tremendously supportive

      Cons

      Campus dining options are kinda weak - breaks my heart to eat the same thing every day
