      Pros

      Enjoy being on a vibrant campus. Great benefits and pension. Pending the department you work in... supportive supervisors. Autonomy in work/leadership of department.

      Cons

      Mixed bag of supervisors and support. Not incredibly current with regard to technology, tools and remote/hybrid work.

      Pros

      Great health insurance - I'm told it's really quite fire (no lie) Great location - love Westwood (sandwiched by Brentwood, Bel Air, and Beverly Hills) Union is tremendously supportive

      Campus dining options are kinda weak - breaks my heart to eat the same thing every day

      Working with students is satisfying and fulfilling. It also helps yourself retain information you have learned from past courses.

      Cons

      The Peer Learning Unit is poorly managed, and it is difficult to communicate with your supervisors.
