      You can have the ability to work with professors and researcher who are at the top of their fields, as well as collaborate with researchers at other institutions.

      Cons

      Your experience will vary with your PI, but the hours can be far from reasonable and some faculty do not offer much financial or academic support.

      Sometimes, other students don't take your full shift and leave like 30 mins of your shift if you give it up

      The Peer Learning Unit is poorly managed, and it is difficult to communicate with your supervisors.
