Pros

I worked as an RMT for UCLA Rec. Great experience as far as college jobs go. -Maintain facilities and equipment, hands on work -Manage small teams of other students as you get better -Super flexible, excellent for students who have school and other commitments

Cons

-Because it is 100% hands on, on some days it does get tiring -Pay does not scale, you max out fairly quickly as a lead

Pros

Great health insurance - I'm told it's really quite fire (no lie) Great location - love Westwood (sandwiched by Brentwood, Bel Air, and Beverly Hills) Union is tremendously supportive

Cons

Campus dining options are kinda weak - breaks my heart to eat the same thing every day

Pros

Working with students is satisfying and fulfilling. It also helps yourself retain information you have learned from past courses.

Cons

The Peer Learning Unit is poorly managed, and it is difficult to communicate with your supervisors.
