      Pros

      Independent, in the field, lots of problem solving and analysis, out in nature, company car, in charge of own schedule, responsive field managers

      Cons

      Quality control system flawed, no real opportunities for advancement without major relocation, seemed a little out of touch with the realities of working in the field, don't love having to knock on people's doors and/or go into backyards.
