Cons
The basic sales model is set up so that you have to do everything yourself. Odds are, the owner of whatever location is going to follow this model. Basically, you are working during all the good classes (peak hours obviously) and the membership is overpriced for what you offer. Its like a watered down, richard simmons version of mma. it's hard to sell enough memberships to make a living. Your base salary will be well below minimum wage and you will have to work weekends more often than not. Staff turnover is terrible because pay is terrible. So you will end up training staff, for them to leave, for you to cover those shifts. You will clean toilets, make sales plans, put in orders and basically do everything while getting compensated very poorly. No health benefits or room for growth in the company. Dead-end job. avoid at all costs.
