Pros
I have been at UGI for a little over a month now and have had a wonderful experience. The application and onboarding processes were efficient and seamless. I applied through LinkedIn in late February and immediately had a response from a company recruiter regarding a phone screen. In all, the application/interview process took less than two weeks and I had an offer in early March. The benefits package is fantastic. Up to 5% match on 401(k); direct stock purchase program; solid medical, dental and life; three weeks of vacation; four personal days; and three weeks of sick time. Plus, the work/life balance is amazing. Additionally, the employees who work at UGI/AmeriGas seem to genuinely enjoy their work. The work environment is very much collaborative in nature.
Cons
There is no formal telework/alternative work schedule policy. Given its location in King of Prussia, it would be convenient for many employees to have a telework option in place to avoid traffic/commuting.
