Pros
UGI has an amazing company culture that really does shine through the everyday morale of its employees... and even in a remote environment, the company encourages teambuilding and networking through a variety of mediums. Work/life balance is very competitive, and management seems comfortable with permitting flexible arrangements for employees. The benefits are also extremely competitive, especially the 401(k) match. Overall, a wonderful place to work... and I hope to remain here for the remainder of my career!
Cons
UGI has a history that dates back to the 1800s, so some business processes are antiquated. But importantly, folks across the company are open to improvements in efficiency and ingenuity. The business is also incredibly complex (consisting of domestic natural gas businesses as well as domestic and international propane businesses), which soemtimes leads to difficulty in communication as well as differing cultures across businesses. So that can be difficult to navigate at times.
