Pros
There are many dedicated, talented and genuinely good people to work with. The work can be fulfilling if you are in the right work group. It appears that the accounting staff is given great training on a regular basis.
Cons
There is a lack of respect from the top down. There is considerable attention given to charity causes, but it would be great if charity started at home, so to speak. Hourly staff is not respected and the training is very hit and miss, disorganized, not tended to. There is a tendency to use people up, including the accounting staff. Often there is an atmosphere of fear, waiting for the next one to be terminated. The HR department does not operate for the benefit of employees, matters are not confidential and the ambush terminations are downright scary. As far as benefits, the costs are high, contribution to 401(k) is non-existent, and there is no sick time at all. If you don't have PTO, you're out of luck.
