Pros
Company paid health insurance for single employee Unlimited PTO (if you can get your manager to approve it) Great team mates Knowledgeable people who are willing to help you in a crunch. Not too many people silo themselves and they are willing to step up and assist during their busy day. I like my direct manager, they are kind, encouraging and supportive.
Cons
Where to start… Don’t believe all the fake hype from the kool-aid drinkers. There’s a lot of talk and not a lot of action at this company. Upper Management is only focused on numbers and quotas. You’re just a number to them. Whats that about “People First?” Direct managers have power to do nothing it seems. Work life balance is talked about all the time yet people are still drowning trying to keep up with the work. People joke that they never take PTO and work nights and weekends just to meet their goals…what does that tell you? Raises are dismal. The bonuses do not make the overtime work near worth it. Oh and despite the size of the organization, you’ll never get a promotion. Only the empty promise of one and extra responsibility that comes with one but it’ll never come to fruition. Whatever level and salary you are hired in at, get comfy with that because it’ll never go noticeably higher. Our project management tools are from the 20th century-we are still using excel for project tracking and discovery?
