Pros
I started at UKG in a position I wasn't entirely sure what I was getting myself into. By far, it was one of the most challenging roles I've ever had in my career. However, with the difficulties, it also provided me with tremendous growth and skills I would've never received outside the company. It led me to my current role where I've been able to show all that I'm capable of. What's great about UKG is the trust aspect, flexibility, and understanding. I came from a company that didn't believe in work/life balance and that work environment deteriorates employees. At UKG, you have that work/life balance and support of a company who values you as an employee and wants to see your success.
Cons
At my time with the company, each year has brought a new change that has come with some uncertainties and I think that forces you to be comfortable with the uncomfortable. In addition, with the merger, it has been challenging bridging gaps between legacy companies and come together to tackle software solutions. Resources also seem to be in dire need to make necessary improvements. I think we'll get there. Just have to go through the learning curves that will make you stronger on the other side.
