Pros

Cons

From the start, the recruiters are an absolute nightmare to work with. They do not even spend 5 minutes reviewing your resume, they have no idea if your skill sets are a match. They take a very long time to respond, they are sales people who couldn't cut it and lucked out with a company who's benefits at one time made the company attractive. Quite frankly the recruiters are a waste of time. The leadership structure starting with those in Lead positions on the ground up to Managers and Directors is an absolute mess. My experience has proven that the leaders were lower level employees who stayed for a long time and got promoted because someone liked them without any real leadership traits or skills. Hugo needs to go. He has shown he is a control freak that comes from a background of being a consultant creating problems and then running in a circle trying to solve the same problems he created. He recently laid off several hard working good employees who were here for multiple years and is FORCING everyone back into the office. The disguise right now is a hybrid model of 2-3x a week (even if your team does not sit in your local office) with the eventual direction of FORCING everyone back FULL time. They will try to sell you on the benefits but do your due diligence. Talented employees should take off with all of the remote opportunities (if you value remote work) and not waste your talent with management who just wants to micro manage and feel in control.

Pros

Working from home and the benefits are okay, but not really any different from those in most other organizations.

Cons

Too many managers are ill-informed about how much work there is to complete. Too many meetings pull employees away from work, yet they are chastised for work-life balance. I do not want to miss a deadline, so I work extra hours but don't report them. Processes seem to change daily. People-first is all but forgotten. Customer service is the unsung hero, carrying the weight of the world but often overlooked. Unrealistic classroom times leave little to no time for Q&A. There are manager pets and clicks in the organization. "Ohana" (meaning Family) is a joke. Do not share innovations with others; they are often stolen by others who will take accolades and credit for themselves. There are egotistical managers who could use a lesson in humility. Growth is nearly impossible. Personal review is a waste of my time. The manager is going to override my ratings with their own. Just give me my review and let's get on with it. It's been all downhill since the merge. Layoffs are a constant worry.
