Until you get laid off, or your job is sent to India, it's a paycheck

In 2006 management had great IT talent to choose from between the legacy Albertsons and Supervalu organizations. Instead of building a great organization using the best talent, one bad CIO after another stayed only long enough to start a half-baked idea and then leave. It was one failure after another. Now after many cycles of out-sourcing and layoffs the organization is a shadow of it's potential. Very few of the good managers and knowledgable technical people are left. Anyone who ever disagreed with the latest bad decision from the top was shown the door.
