Pros

easy responsibilities, great people to work with, amazing benefits, friendly management. Great overtime pay as well: time and a half after 8 hours in day

Cons

Terrible union structure: they have a seniority structure, those in the top 25% get more favoritism and get the easiest roles in the warehouse and on top of that get to leave after 8 hours regardless while everyone else stays to suffer. I thought the point of a union was so everyone suffers together and conversely everyone thrives together as well. Most end up leaving after 2 years because they don't want to be forced to order pick for 8 then load trucks for an additional 4. Overtime hours are horrendous, 9/10 new hires leave within the first 90 days so there's never a consistent work force there, which is why at most points throughout the year you will be working 10-12 hours a day to compensate for the lack of people. Plus, it's forced, so if you don't come in or stay the extra hours, they will give you points. They micro-manage as well, they know exactly the time between you last picked an item and the most recent item you picked after break. So they give you 2 breaks and a lunch but given the standards you are expected to take shorter breaks than what you're entitled to.
