Pros
The pay was good, because the overtime was crazy. Our insurance was very good as well. Nobody wanted to work there so we got away with stuff we shouldn't have. They're hesitant to fire people even if they test positive on drug tests/have felonies. They're even desperate enough to trying to recruit prisoners.
Cons
Where to start? Forces, the seniority structure SUCKS. Always having the threat of being fired over rate looming over your head was awful. It wasn't easy to hit either unless you went to nights. No pension until after 5 years worked. I worked there 4 years and I won't see a dime of it. They are implemented a 401k at least but you're still forced to put into the pension. Working 70 hours a week 5 months of the year and getting a 100 dollar gift card to a grocery store as appreciation. Constantly berating the entire shift that we weren't working hard enough. And don't get injured in a rush to hit rate or you're SoL.
