Pros
This job is like a professional sport. You speed around a warehouse and collect boxes, building a tower on your pallet. You wrap that tower in plastic and drop it at a door. Union job. Zero education required. Physically demanding. You can also drive a forklift after a few months, if you prefer.
Cons
Management is imperfect, but if push comes to shove, the union will provide some support. They tried to fire me after 2 months because I wasn't working quickly enough. My union rep got me some additional training time, and here I am.
