Pros
-The best part of working here is the people you work with (for the most part). -Tuition reimbursement (though you must pay tuition in the beginning of the semester and then UNMH will reimburse after the courses are passed).
Cons
-Infrequent and low raises are a joke. No cost of living adjustments, and on average, only a 1% raise (if you get one at all). -Employee parking is 1 mile away and must take a shuttle to get to the hospital, which can take 15+ minutes. -New employees start out at higher pay than tenured staff. -Salary is non-negotiable during hiring or promotions -Educations/Certifications aren't taken into account when determining pay. Solely based on years of experience, even if only minimally relevant. -Low staffing due to the hospital not being willing to take care of employees
