      There are lots of opportunities to grow your nursing career in any direction you can imagine. You're working for a groundbreaking hospital system that is actively improving healthcare. UPMC is always willing to invest in their employees education and development, I feel like it's not mentioned ever- but they offer a pension to their Nurses.

      The health insurance benefits are not great.

      No pros. It was a horrible place to work

      Cons

      If you were night shift, you had to work every holiday. The nurses were so lazy and never helped us. We ran around taking care of patients with no help. Changing them, cleaning up horrible messes, taking them to the bathroom and doing vitals with no help. Nurses would sit there eating while on Facebook, while we did all the work. Some would even be sleeping!
