Pros

Has a great reputation that looks good on your resume Clean, well maintained and often brand new facilities World renowned Doctors Large network of hospitals

Cons

Yearly cost of living raises are minimal Salaries are very low for RNs on all level, especially low for experienced RNs Certain areas offer little to no advancement opportunities No attempts at employee retention, high turnover rate Undervalues employees and does not make basic amenities readily available (ie parking) Frequently (and possibly purposefully) understaffed, causing unnecessary burden on current staff Does very little visible charity work for a non-profit
