Pros
Benefits were excellent when I made it on the old contract before everyone else had to wait a year for them. Some supervisors say they wish they stayed as a loader. Tuiton reimbursement of $1500 per semester, $15000 for lifetime... hope you can handle doing $3000 worth of credits to finish your 2 year degree in 5.
Cons
Management was a joke... you get scowled more than praised doing your job and agree that safety bbqs were a joke. Pay sucks the first year and really just are worn down quickly from the job. Watched my co workers I started with drop down from 12 to 2 in a year. Not a job for anyone who has never done face paced heavy lifting
