- Very busy (depending on where base is located) - If your NEW get ready to stand at the gate for 12+ hours - Heavy eqpt (this is the norm for carrying ammo + weapon + gear) everyday you have to wear this not like other career fields - You will most likely work holidays as this is a 24/7 job a Security Forces member is always on duty - No down days or "days off" only if you work staff or administrative job (back office)
