Pros
Free education not only to myself but also to family members. This includes medical benefits for yourself to include life insurance and benefits. It's much more personal than simply checking in and getting paid.
Cons
Some of the cons of working for the US Air Force is the amount of "groupthink" and the sever lack of individuality. Creativeness is definitely not a prized or valued characteristic and thinking outside of the box rarely gets rewarded. There are systems in place with too much structure and rigidity to grow.
