Pros

You might get to work with some "interesting" technologies however you'll need to be very flexible with your definition of "interesting." If you want a job that pays you to mostly send emails and discuss things in meetings for hours on end, this place is for you.

Cons

Trump V2.0 probably takes the cake here, but there are so many. The workplace is inflexible and most coworkers are technically inept despite having advanced technical degrees. Poor performance is tolerated and people rise to their level of incompetence. Management will go to great lengths to defend favored employees when performance-related concerns come up from the working level about specific associates. Passive aggression is pervasive and seemingly a desirable characteristic in this workplace.

Pros

The Pros to being a 92Y is that you may work alone and have an office to yourself, along with creating your own schedule by that i mean tasks. You dont have someone breathing down your neck unless you screw up or cannot meet deadlines. You have the ability to be stationed anywhere around the world, i was stationed in the US and Europe there are several oportunities and specific units you can support. After having 9 years of experience I think ive learned a lot and met great people.

Cons

You will be alone sometimes you wont have a mentor or subordinate when you become a supervisor or "supply sergeant", you will get micromanaged if you are not on top of things. People will think you dont do anything, you'll deal with a lot of officers who think they know more than you.
