      Excellent healthcare and non-taxable income! You will gain an appreciation of many things other's take for granted.

      Cons

      24 hour working days are not uncommon. You sign away basic rights when you enlist. You will learn to appreciate things that most people take for granted, but you will definitely pay for it.

      Pros

      - Paid twice a week - Health insurance - you get to move around

      Cons

      - you get degraded constantly - the base pay is basically nothing and the BAH doesn't keep up with the rise of the cost of living - they'll kick you out after 10 years for the mortal sin of being transgender - the health coverage would be great if you didn't have to go to completely incompetent military doctors
