      everything else besides the pros was a con for me... horrible experience and glad to be getting out soon

      Pros

      - Paid twice a week - Health insurance - you get to move around

      Cons

      - you get degraded constantly - the base pay is basically nothing and the BAH doesn't keep up with the rise of the cost of living - they'll kick you out after 10 years for the mortal sin of being transgender - the health coverage would be great if you didn't have to go to completely incompetent military doctors
