Pros
Good work-life balance. Odd hours are the norm, but you don't have to worry about scheduling appointments in the afternoon, either. The district manager position offers alot of attractive experience should one move onto another position as well - you manager carriers, organize distribution, and gain some experience in marketing as well.
Cons
The entire industry is suffering. There is considerable doubt about whether the recent downturns are cyclical in nature and short-term or the first wave of a long trend of serious declines. This, of course, leads to decreases in budgets, layoffs, pay cuts, and the expectation that remaining employees do more for the same pay.
