When our employees are set up for success, we can operate effectively, and our business thrives. Goal setting and workforce planning are part of a formal annual process for senior leaders. As organizational changes are made, these plans are revisited. With clear objectives set, leaders cascade goals and priorities through their teams. Where employees feel overwhelmed or unclear, which only frustrates them and adds risk to our performance, we encourage proactive dialogue. Employees can gain support by working with their managers, mentors, peers, and when necessary, HR partners.
