Pros
USAA offers great benefits such as medical, dental, eyecare, short term disability and 401K with employer match up to 8%. They also provide performance based bonuses. They have a great deal of conveniences right in the office such as an on-sight pharmacist, several health clubs, multiple cafeterias and several fast food chain restaurants, several company stores and a daycare center.
Cons
The down side to receiving the quality benefits is that you must work extremely hard. Most of the call center staff are extremely overworked due to staffing attrition. Your performance is mostly measured on how many additional products you can get the customers to buy not on the quality of your assigned job. There are many micro-managers and because they want to move up the corporate ladder they will do whatever it takes without regard for their team's efforts. I'm not sure how much longer they can operate in this manner since many employees are so stressed that they must medicate themselves to get through the day.
