Pros
Nice building with store, gift shop, and food options You get a USAA membership has some good travel discounts. Good retirement plan School benefit at the time I worked there they paid for college. That was nice. I got another degree while there training and testing fees paid for by Company My health insurance was okay, not great but not bad.
Cons
I hated working here but did not want to hate it nor did I want to leave. Sadly, they have very limited schedule and job choices so if you are unhappy the only option is to leave since there are no other jobs for you to try. All day people curse and scream at you and treat you like poo. It is a call center job. They also did not stand by their original Covid policy and promises. Other issues with USAA **They support Texas and other horrible political choices **Misogynist work place **Awful job if you do not like sitting all day, phones, or tech issues. You are tied to a phone all day Yuk! **The pay is very bad a tad above min wage and no commission. Other insurance companies pay a lot more. **Non flexible and play favorites on time off. **No other jobs to try to move into if you are unhappy. Covid irregularities for time off, Many people got time off for Covid some by lying but yet I could not even take time off for Dr's appts or patient care. I just left since I did not need the job. I was upset over the whole thing though and they lost a great employee. Some of the people who work there are really not smart at all and immoral. I sat next to a girl who was on her own phone all day on the clock. They refused to fire her. Man she was a piece of work. Ancient technology causing extreme stress and unproductive work especially if you work from home.
