Pros

I can't even think of one to be completely honest. The only good thing that came out of this job is the friends that I made despite management's attempts to keep us away from each other.

Cons

It seemed like an ongoing issue among the CRS is their issues with management. In my very short time here I was discriminated against, retaliated against, and overall borderline tormented by the management at the Elk Grove location. When I brought up my issues about management fraternization, alienation, and discrimination absolutely nothing was done and they fired me shortly after. The dress code is discriminatory to anyone plus size or with a physical disability such as back issues. When I was given temporary accommodation for the dress code and options to wear, I wore something that fit in the criteria and was sent home without pay. When I spoke to HR to get a better understanding I got no further explanation or help on the matter. It says in the handbook that accommodations would be made for this but with no doc note but when I asked for one it required a doc note. When I asked for accommodation for my disability, like a standing desk, they said they couldn't accommodate me and asked for a doctor's recommendation to have me work from home. I couldn't get the recommendation to work from home, they forced me to stay in the office with no standing desk. This is just a FRACTION of the issues that I and others had to deal with at this place.

I am fairly certain I know who wrote this review, and I agree we never got on the same page. While we can’t go into much detail in this forum, we can both say we spoke regularly to address the issues you raised while you worked at USCB. I also know that these issues were not all resolved in your favor, but they were resolved according to our written policies, and that is really the fairest way to treat all of our team members. If you would like to discuss any lingering issues with us, Please call HR at 213-387-6181 during work hours, and we would be happy to address your concerns the best we can.

Pros

The company itself it’s transparent with all that it offers starting with their benefits and incentives. The best perk is the fact that they are an employee owned company and the day you retire you have a vested amount for your future. They provide you with all their policies up front so you learn, listen and grow successfully in your position. I love to help promote the use of their tools that made be successful in my position. And the management team was there to help me reach my goals. Key to me was having great communication with management that I noticed improved my growth and experience. In addition I surrounded myself with smart, humble and hard working people that made me excel.

Cons

There are times where I felt stuck with repetiveness but once I was open to change, I took advantage of it to grow and tried something else. The company has grown so quickly that it took me a bit to catch up. I had tunnel vision that I didn’t give in to the change so i made it difficult for myself. But once I noticed the great improvements in all areas I grew to learn that the change was needed.
