Pros
Good employees are rewarded. Good employees are recognized and encouraged. Good employees are very well taken care of. The performance review system is fair. The agency management systems are well developed and integrated. There is a strong focus on technology. There is a collaborative team effort. USI provides extensive training and has all webinars and training documents readily available on the intranet. The PTO, health benefits, and vacation time are better than average. It's an 8 to 5 job and you get paid overtime if you work beyond 40 hours a week. (YAY!)
Cons
Things are very compartmentalized and you can sometimes step on other team's toes. When there are "bad eggs" among the employees, management just ignores them and reassigns work to the good employees. The "bad eggs" are still here, still earning a paycheck, and still getting away with bad behavior or poor work ethic. Our office has a strong team in the upper layers, but is lacking in the support/processing department.
